From July 16th to 20th, 2023, the management team of Kaishan MEA, a subsidiary of our group located in Dubai responsible for the Middle East, Europe, and Africa markets, along with some distributors in the region, visited Kaishan’s factories in Shanghai Lingang and Quzhou, Zhejiang. Distributors and customers from the UAE, Saudi Arabia, Algeria, Bahrain, Ireland, Norway, and the Netherlands braved the sweltering heat to inspect the factories. The visit was a success.
The delegation visited Kaishan’s unmanned screw compressor production line, automated production line in the foundry, resin casting workshop, centrifuge manufacturing workshop, and the Westinghouse-specific automated production line, large rotor production line, and cooler assembly line in the pressure vessel factory. The guests were not only impressed by Kaishan’s first-class manufacturing capabilities but also surprised and admired its end-to-end manufacturing process. They expressed that Kaishan demonstrated the technological strength and manufacturing capabilities of a multinational corporation, which was unexpected and eye-opening.
Besides touring the factory, workshops, and production lines, the guests focused primarily on the products. Braving the sweltering heat, they lingered for extended periods in the centrifuge workshop, showing particular interest in Kaishan’s centrifugal compressors and carefully examining their details. In the export workshop, they spent considerable time near small diesel-powered mobile air compressors and 25bar and 35bar high-pressure mobile air compressors—popular products in the Middle Eastern market—leading to repeated extensions of their visit.
Most movingly, during their visit to a 160kW oil-free screw air compressor in use in one of Kaishan’s workshops, the guests lingered in the small, stuffy compressor room, almost all of them drenched in sweat. Listening to the gentle sound of the machine, the well-informed guests displayed complex expressions: shock and disbelief; surprise at finally finding the desired product; and satisfaction that the trip was worthwhile, providing more and better choices for the future. These professionals, with years of experience in the compressor industry, unanimously agreed that Kaishan products, in every aspect, fully possess the characteristics of a top-tier global brand.
On the afternoon of the 19th, the delegation listened to a special technical report by General Manager Dr. Tang Yan.
Witnessed by Mr. Cao Kejian, Chairman of Kaishan Holding Group Co., Ltd., Mr. John Byrne, CEO of Kaishan MEA, signed strategic cooperation agreements with Kanoo Company of Saudi Arabia, Kanoo Company of UAE/Bahrain, Vestec Company of Norway, and LMF-GBI of Ireland.
On the morning of the 20th, at the request of the visitors who were still eager for more, the delegation added to their inspection tour, visiting Kaishan Heavy Industry and the Purification Company.
